We have recently completed our work at the Sunny Park shopping Mall in Pretoria of which bringing into creation a truly cutting edge Staircase masterpiece! This is actually the aforementioned mall’s central/main staircase of which is comprised of four separate flights of stairs. In total, this series of staircases contains 112 solid treads & 120 solid risers and the entire structure extends 5 mall levels!
“It has been a great pleasure of which doing business with people who are more so adventurous in their choice of aesthetics & specification of materials. We would not be surprised to discover that we have created the biggest hardwood staircase in any Southern African mall, such of which amongst the very few hardwood staircases that can actually be found in our Southern African malls. Yes, it can be assumed that the aforementioned facts are attributed to the superior functionality available from alternative flooring/staircase surface materials, of which I must respond by assuring that our staircase at Sunny Park will last as long as a tiled staircase surface in any other South African high spec mall! This is true of which being ascribed to the use of Mill finish aluminium lips that have been inlayed at the edge of each solid tread whereby ensuring that the shoe of any pedestrian is kept out of direct contact with the actual substrate material- this is but one precaution that we have employed during our work at Sunny Park Mall. So as you can see, there are means in which to boost the functionality of hardwood/bamboo flooring & stair tread/riser materials whereby enforcing their capabilities so as to perform as well or better than alternative materials in heavy traffic commercial applications.”

We love the flooring industry and that is why we do what we do! We are also very innovative. Our custom floors are yet another display of our fresh thinking. We are now able to give you just about any colour tone Strandwoven floor imaginable! This is not merely a simple stain colour/lacquer but an oil based imported Belgian sealant that reacts with the raw material to initiate a colour change reaction whilst maintaining the raw texture of the floor and giving you an ultramatte finish!

BAMBOOLANDS is also the sole stockist of easilay self adhesive foam underlay systems in South Africa. We currently stock a 3mm thick EPE composition underlay with 80g/m3 adhesive quality on one side’s surface.
These products have a PU based peel off film that doesn’t tear.
Suitable for installing laminate floors, engineered wooden and bamboo floors and solid wooden and bamboo floors
